To Bishop Othal Hawthorne Lakey and Dr. Elfreda Lakey, Presiding Elder Raymond Ford and Mrs. Christine Ford, the members of the 105th Session of the Central Georgia Region Annual Conference and to the worshipping, witnessing and working members of the Warner Robins CME Church.
I greet you in the marvelous, majestic, mysterious, magnanimous name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I praise and thank God from whom all blessings flow. The LORD gave Warner Robins under the leadership of Rev. Stevie McKinney, a vision to expand and remodel the sanctuary. I continue to stand on God’s and all of my predecessors’ shoulders, Rev. Donald Jordan, Rev. Dr. Robert W. Green, Rev. Frederick Zak, Rev. Stevie McKinney, and I can Praise God that very soon construction will begin.
The LORD has blessed Warner Robins Church beyond my wildest imaginations this year. Warner Robins CME Church continues to make a difference in the lives of others. Our church is growing, 45 persons connected with the family of faith, 16 youth connected on one Sunday. Our stewardship is a testimony of God’s love throughout this community and all around the world. Our ministries are meaningful, where lives are being touched and needs are being met through such events as Financial Empowerment and Couples Ministry, Sexual Abuse Seminar Mental Health Seminar, Breast Cancer Awareness through Brewed Awakening Breakfast Seminars, Cherished Children Daycare center, First Aid/CPR Class, “Souper” Bowl Saturday and Financial. Aid Workshop for High School juniors and seniors. We are truly committed Christians, connected to a caring Christ and looking forward to a coming Kingdom here on earth.
I would like to thank the entire constituency of the 6th Episcopal District for the outstanding opportunities they have provided for me to exercise my gifts. I would like to thank Presiding g Elder Raymond Ford and Mrs. Christine Ford, for your sincere service support and seeds sown into our lives. I would like to thank Bishop Lakey and Dr. Lakey for your constant care and concern, powerful prayers and formidable faith in our leadership of this congregation moving to the next level.
I praise God for the Warner Robins Church , its officers, ministerial and office staff, members, and friends for your labor of love in following the vision the LORD has given me. It does not yet appear what we shall be. Your dedicated discipleship, friendly fellowship and wonderful worship have bless our lives this year as we continue on this journey of faith we call life.
