Ministries

All ministries are designed to enhane the social, emoitional, intellectual, physical, economic and spiritual development of people fo all ages and stations in life - from childhood to senior adults and from the foor to the affluent.

Radio and Tape...This ministry is broadcasted each Sunday morning on radio station 1670 AM.  It is designed to bring the Word fo God to sick and shut in members, and to serve as an outreach ministry to the community.  The church now maintains a library of taped sermons.

Tutorial...This ministry was organized to meet the educational needs of our students.  The ministry serves an average of 20 students, twice per week.

Athletic...This ministry enhances the physical and social development of children and youth.  The group actively participates in the City's Church Basketball and Softball leagues.

Music...This ministry provides music during all worship services. The Minister of Music directs the following choirs:  Children's, Youth, Mass, and the Evangelical.

Social Concerns...enhances our awareness and understanding of various social issues in the community.

Nursery/Children...designed to personally instruct and guide our children on the nature and love of Jesus.  Children's church is held each Sunday morning.

Hospitality...This ministry welcomes new members to our church and provides support to families who grieve and suffer loss.

Golden Age Ministry...This group of golden age warriors meets monthly to fellowship and share in the goodness and mercy of God.

Pastor's Support Ministry...This ministry consists of members who support the pastor and his family with special programs and gifts.

Transportation...A church van is utilized to pick up members for Sunday School, choir practice, tutorial program and other activities in support of the church and its program.

Benevolence...This ministry serves to support the church and community in times of inanciall and personal struggles.

Women's Ministry...designed to encourage a more open relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another.  The ministry encourages individual reflection through personal and group activities.

Men's Ministry...designed to encourage our men to come together for the purpose of growing spiritually and to minister to the needs of young men in the schools and communities.  The ministry also seeks to call attention to the many health issues facing our men today.
